Name: Sabrina Gender: Female Species: Selkie
Overall Description: Sabrina is small and thin, olive skinned, brown-red eyed and has wild, very curly brown hair. When dry, anyway. Of course when wet, her hair is darker, and falls in drooping loose waves. Tail Color: brown, with speckles and a slightly lighter belly.
History: Most of her family is from Mexico, however, during the potato famine, her Mexican great - great grandfather came up to Chicago and married her Irish great - great - grandmother, completely unaware of her selkie nature. A few generations later, her mother, Daniella, (also a selkie) moved to New York where she sang opera for eighteen years. There she met Sabrina's father, married him, gave birth to Sabrina, divorced her husband, and moved back to Chicago five years after that. In a desperate bid to provide a normal childhood for her daughter, Daniella hid Sabrina's seal skin. Having only recently found said skin under a false bottom in her mother's dresser, Sabrina is working towards connecting with the Great Lakes pod, being the first in her family to realize the existance of fish-based Mers. Mer Relatives & Family: Mother, grandmother. (also knew great grandmother and her sister, now deceased) Pod: Great Lakes Pod Home Waters: Lake Michigan, first swam in the Atlantic, close to New York.
